WHAT: First Annual Ship TakeovARRR – A Total Act of Piracy (Codename: F.A.S.T. T.A.P.)
WHEN: Sunday, September 18th, 2016 from 11:00am to 1:00pm
WHERE: South Beach Park, Santa Monica, CA 90405
BRING: A pirate costume and any accoutrements, the ability to talk like a pirate, and balloons to make water balloons (it would be helpful if you could make some ahead of time).

At 11am, arrive at the north end of the parking lot that’s bordered by the beach to the west, Barnard Way and Ocean View Park to the east, and Dorothy Green Park to the north. We will have a briefing there. The mission will take place at the South Beach Park playground at the southern end of the parking lot. This is where the ship is located which we will be “liberating” from its current crew and conscripting them into our Pirate crew. We highly encourage family participation in this mission, the more kid agents there, the better.

After this mission, we will have a debriefing at the most appropriate of places, The Galley at 2442 Main Street, Santa Monica, CA 90405. If you parked in the lot, we suggest leaving your car there and walking to The Galley: https://goo.gl/maps/RZmEx64Cqnw
